The Inter-American Institute for Children and Adolescents presents its IINfancia Bulletin number 12, which coincides with a new anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
This edition brings together multiple articles referring to the rights of children and adolescents on various topics on the rights agenda of the region, which have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects.
The reader will find topics such as: childhood in human mobility, the violence of institutionalization, the most aberrant forms of exploitation, the challenge of defending public spending on childhood, ethnic identities, presence of the gender dimension in the discourses, and the “social representation of childhoods”.
