Workshop on Intervention Model for Noncustodial Penalties for Adolescents – Uruguay
As part of the activities that are being developed for the implementation of the Model for Noncustodial Penalties for Adolescents in Uruguay, from September 17 to 20 a workshop will be conducted for legal and social operators in contact with the subject of infringement teen.
This formative instance will be led by the specialist in criminal and criminological sciences, and UNICEF consultant María Gracia Morais de Ramírez, who coordinated the inter-institutional table* and drafted the document.
This Model is a working protocol that establishes the foundations, objectives, methodology, procedures and techniques that will be used by all those involved in the execution of non-custodial sanctions.
* This Work Table was created in 2016 and is composed of: INISA, INAU, Judicial Branch, Office of the Prosecutor, Ombudsman, ANONG, IIN-OAS, UNICEF, in order to promote the recommendations.
