Training on “Violence and Rights of Children …” strengthens the capacities of professionals in the region

 

As part of the 2019 academic offer, the IIN’s Inter-American Training Program launches a new edition of the course » Violence and Children Rights… building peaceful environments.

The program has a duration of 8 weeks, it will have a virtual phase and a face-to-face one, the latter will be developed in co-responsibility with the States of: Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay.

The objective of this course, aimed at governmental and non-governmental professionals in the system of integral protection for children, is to contribute to the strengthening of technical and practical capacities around the protective actions of the exercise of the rights of children before situations of violence.

 

The Inter-American Training Program (PIC) is a training unit of the IIN – OAS that aims to strengthen the capacities of States and organized civil society, through the development of training processes in different modalities on various thematic contents, in order to advance towards the promotion of child rights and the eradication of all form of violation, deepening a Culture of Rights.
