Lic. Victor Giorgi assumed as General Director of IIN-OAS
According to the provisions of the Secretary General of the OAS, Dr. José Miguel Insulsa, from the application determined by the Directing Council – OAS during the 89th Ordinary Meeting to be held in Brasilia, Brazil. On April 17. Lic. Víctor Giorgi assumed the General Directorate of the Inter- American Children’s Institute (IIN) for the period 2015-2019.
Giorgi , of uruguayan nationality, has a long and distinguished career in the field of childhood and adolescence and integrates the IIN technical team since 2010 , serving as Coordinator of Promotion and Protection Institute. By assuming the Directorate General, Victor Giorgi acknowledged the work done by the former Director, María de los Dolores Aguilar Marmolejo, who completed his second term at the head of the organism.
