Launch of the «Regional Observatory for the Right to Family Live»

 

The Director General of the Inter-American Children Institute (IIN-OAS), Víctor Giorgi and the International Director for Latin America and the Caribbean of AlSOS, Fabiola Flores, will present on Tuesday April 20 the “Regional Observatory for the Right to Family Live”.

The objective of the observatory is to identify, systematize and make visible, advances, obstacles and gaps in the guarantee of the right to live with family in the region, as well as the existing good practices on promotion and guarantee of this right, contributing with the States to the design of adequate and timely public policies.

The launch of this Regional Observatory will include the participation of the Rapporteur on the Rights of the Child of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, Esmeralda Arosemena de Troitiño, and the President of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, Luis Pedernera.
