Inter-American Training Program starts courses in the first semester

 

With more than 1000 applicants from 24 Member States of the Organization of American States (OAS), the Inter-American Training Program (PIC) ended successfully the call for the first semester courses of the IIN.

 

The courses offer a free academic opportunity that allows the training in specific themes related to the rights of children and adolescents, with the aim of moving “towards a culture of rights».

 

From April to June the following courses will be developed:

  • Introduction Child Rights (Spanish and English),
  • Promotion of the Child Participation in the Americas,
  • Early Childhood,
  • International Child Abduction.

 

It should be noted that at the request of the State of Paraguay and in co-responsibility with it, the second edition of the semi-presential (Blended) course «Promotion of Child Participation» began in march, within the framework of the agreement signed with the National Secretariat for Children and Adolescence (SNNA).

 

The courses scheduled for the second semester of 2017 are: Juvenile Justice, Comunication and Rights, Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (semi-presential in co-responsibility with the States without open call), Disaster Risk Management (Spanish and English), International Child Abduction (English) and Violence and Children Rights.
