CORIA Notebook N ° 6
The Network of Child and Youth Correspondents of the IIN-OAS presents the sixth edition of CORIA Notebook. In this publication, child and adolescents of the CORIA Network share their articles and videos to inform about the situation that they live in different regions of the Americas, on this occasion, strongly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this notebook, the correspondents invite us to reflect on public policies for children and adolescents, on the rights of children and adolescents and they seek to address issues that they consider a priority for ensuring those rights, such as education, health, child labour, child and adolescent participation in the context of pandemic and post-pandemic, among others.
In addition, this sixth edition includes the “Positioning document of the Network of Correspondents for Children and Adolescents: OUR RIGHTS ARE NOT IN QUARANTINE!”, product of an initiative of the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 Generations of the CORIA Network. In it, the correspondents express their points of view on different topics and give recommendations to families, schools and States to promote, protect and fulfil the rights of children and adolescents.
