IIN-OEA provides technical assistance to NIÑ@SUR Initiative
Continuing the regional agenda on the Participation of Children and Adolescents, the IIN-OAS will provide technical assistance for the promotion and protection of this right during the XXVIII Meeting of the Permanent Commission of the NIÑ@SUR Initiative, with the objective of institutionalize participation in this commission.
The Pro Tempore Presidency of MERCOSUR is in charge of the State of Brazil, which is why the meeting will take place at the National School of Public Administration of Brasilia between October 23 and 25.
The delegations of the Member States and Associates of MERCOSUR, organized groups of children and adolescents and members of civil society will attend.
It is expected that this activity will approve the Regulation of the Social Participation of Children and Adolescents and Civil Society in the Niñ@Sur Permanent Commission.
This Meeting is being held within the scope of the XXX Meeting of High Authorities of Human Rights of MERCOSUR and Associated States.
