Seventh Regional Consultation of Helplines for Children in Latin America and the Caribbean
The Inter-American Children’s Institute (IIN) participated in the «Seventh Regional Consultation of Helplines for Children in Latin America and the Caribbean» developed from 22th to 24th September in the city of Managua, Nicaragua.
The consultation was organized by Child Helpline International (CHI), the Ministry of Family Youth and Children of Nicaragua (Regional Consultation of Helplines for Children in Latin America and the Caribbean), with the support of Plan International Inc. and World Vision. The purpose of the activity was to provide a space for discussion and analysis of helplines for children in the region, in order to continue growing as a network of helplines involved in the protection of children.
Representing the IIN-OEA, Psic. Daniel Calverie, participated in character exhibitor and co-coordinator of space Workshop on impact assessment, while in bilateral talks made progress on delineating the new roadmap that will find CHI and IIN cooperating to promote, disseminate and contribute technically to the region.
