The IIN participates in the 6th International Congress on Family

On 17 and 18 November 2015 the IIN participated in the 6th International Congress on Family, organized by The National System for Integral Family Development (DIF), in the city of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.

The activity was developed at the Convention and Exhibition Center Yucatan Siglo XXI and was attended by leading authorities and academics of the region. The representation of the Institute was in charge of the General Director Victor Giorgi, who spoke on the fundamental importance of the familiar environment for Children Healthy Development, at a time where the international context and regional declarations strengthens to go deep in actions to achieve the Eradication of all forms of Violence against Children and Adolescents, in all environments.

The presentation highlights the need to respect the diversity of family structures, considering the different cultures and changes in society. During the event Victor Giorgi received a mention for his commitment and dedication to the cause of the Rights of Children.
