IIN invites you to participate in the contest “Around the Book in Eighty Stories”
The IIN invites children and teenagers between 6 and 17 years old who live in Uruguay to participate in the “Around the Book in Eighty Stories” contest.
This contest is organized by the Instituto del Niño y Adolescente de Uruguay (INAU), and is part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, that is why the theme of the story should be inspired by at least one of the rights contained in the Convention.
According to the age, the interested parties will participate according to the following categories:
- Category A: Boys and girls between 6 and 12 years old. Story whose maximum length is 1 page A4 sheet, simple line spacing, written on computer (Arial letter 12).
- Category B: Adolescents from 13 to 17 years old. Story whose maximum length is 2 pages A4 sheet, single line spacing, written on computer (Arial 12 letter).
The contest rules and the application form are available here (only Spanish). The selected stories will be announced between October and November 2019 on the INAU website, and will be part of a digital and printed book that will be published between April-May 2020.
