Child and Youth Correspondents present CORIA Notebook N° 5
The IIN-OEA Network of Child and Youth Correspondents presents the fifth edition of the CORIA Notebook.
This publication has a compilation of the articles written by the CORIAs during the first semester of the year, which highlight issues that are on the childhood agenda in the region, as well as the situation they are going through in the context of a pandemic. The CORIA Notebook contains a series of recommendations and suggestions in video format aimed at children and adolescents in time of COVID-19, and the series of videos made in conjunction with the Inter-American Court of Human Rights «Protecting Rights.»
Also, outstanding meetings in which they participated in a virtual way such as: the Intergenerational Dialogue «Rights of Children» and the virtual seminars: «Situación de los Derechos Humanos de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes en el contexto de pandemia» (organized by the IACHR) and the «Role of the IIN in relation to Human Rights Protection Systems in the framework of the Day of Children and Youth of the Americas.»
The coordinators of the CORIA Network, Dulce Castillo and Teresita Poblete, thanked the members for their commitment and pointed out «Their work is very valuable for the IIN, since it allows us to make visible the field experience of each country, shedding light on us to work together and protect and promote the rights of children and adolescents «.

The IIN Network of Child and Yout Correspondents (CORIA Network) is one of the strategic actions promoted by the IIN-OEA in terms of participation. It is currently made up of 14 children and adolescents, between 12 and 17 years of age, belonging to 8 countries: Argentina, Canada, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay and Trinidad and Tobago.
