New Edition of the CORIA Notebook
New Edition of the CORIA Notebook
The CORIA Notebook No. 13 is now available — a new collection of articles written by children and adolescents from across the Americas who are part of the Network of Child and Adolescent Correspondents (CORIA).
The CORIA Network is an initiative that promotes the participation of children and adolescents throughout the region, offering them a space to share their views, experiences, and perspectives on their rights.
Promoted by the Inter-American Children’s Institute (IIN-OAS), this network fosters intergenerational dialogue and reflection on issues affecting new generations. Twice a year, its members publish the CORIA Notebook, a magazine that compiles their writings and contributions.
In this edition, children and adolescents reflect on a variety of current topics, including:
- Mental health
- Indigenous childhoods
- Culture
- Participation
- Protection from sexual abuse
- Inclusion
- Malnutrition
- Comprehensive sexual education
The CORIA Notebook No. 13 also features a special chapter dedicated to the 4th Pan-American Forum of Children and Adolescents, a key regional space for dialogue and proposals.
This issue includes contributions from correspondents in Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay.
The publication is aimed not only at their peers but also at teachers, adult mentors, decision-makers, and the general public — inviting everyone to listen to and value the voices of children and adolescents across the Americas.
