IIN-OAS against the sexual and labor exploitation of children
Through its Inter-American Cooperation Program for the Prevention and Eradication of Sexual Exploitation, Trafficking and Trafficking of Children, the IIN-OAS will participate as an observer and adviser* at the X Meeting of the Regional Action Group of the Americas (GARA).
This meeting which will be from Novembre 21-24 in the Ministry of Tourism of Mexico**, has as topics of discussion: Sexual and labor exploitation of children and adolescents in the travel and tourism sector, prospects, advances and challenges for the travel sector and tourism, from the perspective of civil society and international organizations and the consolidation of GARA as a regional reference group on the protection of the rights of children and adolescents in the field of travel and tourism.
Civil society organizations, as well as representatives of the Ministries / Tourism Agencies of: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, will participate in this conference in which seeks to prevent the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in the field of tourism, promoting actions from the same sector.
